Do we need this if we're cloud-only?
No. Slide is specifically for on-premises servers. If your only server infrastructure is Microsoft 365, Dropsuite (included in all plans) covers your cloud backup needs.
What happens during a disaster recovery test?
We spin up your server in an isolated environment and verify everything works—applications launch, data is accessible, services respond. You get a report confirming your backups are recoverable. No surprises when you actually need it.
Who owns the backup hardware?
We do. The Slide appliance stays Athencia property, which means no upfront capital expense for you. If you leave, we retrieve the hardware and provide a final backup copy.
