Doesn't Microsoft already back up our data?
Not in the way you'd expect. Microsoft maintains geo-redundant copies for infrastructure failures, but if you delete something (or an attacker does), those copies delete too. Native retention has gaps and time limits. Dropsuite is true backup.
How long do you keep backups?
We retain backups for one year by default. Longer retention is available for compliance needs. You can restore to any point within your retention window.
Can users restore their own files?
Yes. Users can access Dropsuite's self-service portal to restore their own emails and OneDrive files without submitting a ticket. Reduces wait time and support load.
