Cookies Policy

Effective January 26, 2026

Effective: January 26, 2026Legal entity: Athencia LLC ("Athencia")

Overview

This Cookies Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on our websites and online services (the "Sites"). For how we handle personal information more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.

We use (a) essential security cookies, (b) limited functional cookies on pages with embedded forms/meetings, and (c) analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our Sites. We do not use advertising/retargeting cookies.

What We Use

1) Strictly Necessary (Security & Performance)

These keep the Sites reliable and protect against bots/abuse. They are required for the Sites to function.

  • Cloudflare (our security/CDN) sets necessary cookies such as __cf_bm (bot protection) and, in some cases, __cfruid (rate limiting). Typical lifetime is around 30 minutes or session. What it means for you: these do not "follow" you across other sites and are used to distinguish legitimate traffic from bots.

2) Functional (Only on Pages with Embeds)

On pages where we embed third-party tools (e.g., forms or meeting links), those providers may set functional cookies so the embed works as expected.

  • HubSpot (forms/meetings) may set cookies such as hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc, and __hssrc to operate forms, remember submissions, and maintain session details. Lifetimes range from session to ~6 months (provider-defined). What it means for you: these appear only on pages that use HubSpot embeds; blocking them can break form functionality.

3) Measurement (Analytics)

We use analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with our Sites so we can improve our content and services.

  • Google Analytics helps us understand visitor behavior, traffic sources, and content performance. It sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish users and maintain session state. Typical lifetime is up to 2 years. What it means for you: this data helps us improve the Sites; we do not use it for advertising or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
  • Simple Analytics provides privacy-friendly site metrics without cookies or cross-site tracking. What it means for you: this complementary tool gives us aggregate insights without storing personal data.

4) Account-Based Visitor Insights (B2B)

We analyze visits at a company level to understand which businesses are engaging with our content.

  • Apollo Website Visitors uses a tracking script to attribute visits to companies and summarize high-level activity (e.g., top pages, daily visitors). It's designed for account-level insights, not to identify individual people. What it means for you: we use this information to prioritize sales efforts; we do not use it for ads/retargeting.

We do not run advertising/retargeting pixels and do not "sell" or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this ever changes, we will update this page and our Privacy Notice.

Your Choices

  • Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Doing so may impact embedded forms (HubSpot) and site reliability (Cloudflare).
  • Google Analytics opt-out. You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics on any website.
  • Blocking third-party scripts. You can use content blockers to limit third-party embeds. Forms or schedulers may not work if blocked.

Children

Our Sites are for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy
