What Personal Data We Collect and Why
Comments
When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
We may use an anonymized string (hash) of your email address to check for a profile with the Gravatar service. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Upon approval of your comment, your profile picture may become visible to the public.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as others may extract this data from the images.
Cookies
We use cookies to improve your experience:
- If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience. These last one year.
- A temporary cookie is set on the login page to determine cookie acceptance; it’s discarded when you close your browser.

We do not sell your data. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

- Comments and metadata are retained indefinitely for moderation continuity.
- Registered users (if any) may have their profile data stored, which they can view, edit, or delete at any time—except for their username.
- Admins can also see and edit user information.

- Erasure of your personal data (excluding data we must retain for legal, security, or administrative purposes)

We use Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Intune, Defender, and Huntress for data security and endpoint protection. All systems are monitored to detect threats and anomalies proactively.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
